Diminish Signs of Fine Lines with a 3 Step Program

On November 15, 2020 by Charlestoneblog

If you have a big event like a wedding (or your high school reunion) & want gorgeous skin, you can follow a 3-step program the stars use to get ready for awards shows & red carpet premieres.

In the March 2020 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, renowned dermatologist, Harold Lancer, MD, spills his 3-step secret for reducing the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles while ending up with glowing skin — just in time for a special event.

Step #1: Cleanse with a salicylic acid cleanser

Lancer suggests you cleanse face, neck & upper chest with a 2 percent salicylic acid cleanser. This removes dead skin cells. We’ve done the research on good cleansers. We suggest you try:

  • Murad Clarifying Cleanser
  • JOEY New York Pure Pores Cleansing Gel with Vitamin C
  • AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser by Murad
  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash

Step #2: Follow cleanser with a 5 percent glycolic acid toner

Lancer suggests this 2nd step to bring blood flow to your face, neck & chest. We researched some great toners & suggest these:

Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner

Physician’s Complex Glycolic Acid Toner

Reviva Labs glycolic acid toner

Step #3: Finish with a slather of moisturizer

The secret here is using the right moisturizer. Lancer suggests an aloe-vera/retinol-blend moisturizer (he suggests you look for the ingredient retinol palmitate). This ingredient tightens pores & plumps skin. Try this moisturizer:
